ABLA Moving?

I just heard Eastern dispatcher refer to ABLE moving their facilities. Who's got the scoop on this?

They are moving to a larger facility on the west side of Montgomery Field across from SDFD Station 28 off Kerny Villa Road. The site was formerly used by Critcal Air, a medical transport facility.

LOL. I've been to that facility numerous times in the past to pick up patients. That should be a great place for the guys. I did'nt even know Critical Air moved out.

ha, yeah. i heard earlier this week that they were "cleaning up" and only available for emergencies. now this makes sense.

I just heard one of the SDPD pilots on 122.775 with ASTREA say that the first of the new helicopters was supposed to arrive September 1st. He said he thought it would be the first or second week of the month before they went 10-8 with it.
