Which PL tone is used by CDF & USFS as their regular everyday tone, unless otherwise told to use a different one?

Depends on which repeater they are attempting to access. There is no "everyday" tone. It all depends on location and frequency.

131.8 is mvu locals tone and if seen 103.5 as cmd-3.

For output tones (there are a variety of input tones)

151.1900 (131.8) CDF Local

168.7500 (103.5) CNF Forest Net
415.4500 (103.5) CNF Forest Net (Link)
168.1500 (103.5) CNF Admin Net
168.0250 (103.5) CNF Law Net

And just to round out the list ...

166.3750 (103.5) BLM Admin Net
166.7500 (131.8) BLM Law Net

CDF has been adding the output tone of 103.5 on some of the command repeaters, but it's definitely not widespread down here so you're better off without tones on the command channels for now :)

Thanks for the responses. So many of the freqs get Mexican interference, it is nice to get the channels CLEAR of other chatter.
