Dispatch software

Anyone know anything about the software that San Diego dispatchers use? It'd be cool to know more.

Does anyone know if there is a way to "scan" MDT transmissions, or if it's even legal? I know that SDPD officers have their MDT messages audited every now and again to make sure there isn't anything stange or unprofessional on there, but I don't know if anyone can scan them like they scan the radio freqs. Any ideas?

Maybe the MDT's. But those are almost all gone. The new MCT's are cell phone based. So it's neither possible or legal.
