After last November of last year when my PRO96 ended up being a paperweight because all the systems went to APCO PHASE 2, i finally bought a SDS 100
Its a complicate scanner and has a new hierarchy compared to scanning banks like the PRO96

So anyway, I made a favorites list and put in The South Cell control channels and the TGIDs for El Cajon Police. So I hear CHP El Cajon dispatch, La Mesa, Santee Fire, freeway service patrol, everything but no ECPD

So I go back into the scanner and take out the TGIDs. Still nothing. I go back into the scanner and make a second fave list with a different P25 -- TDMA

still no ECPD --But I have everything else

Can anybody tell me what am I doing wrong? Is ECPD on a different cell or encrypted or what?

Yes unfortunately El Cajon PD is encrypted now.

It was on January 1, 2021.

Also Escondido and Chula Vista have gone to full encryption.

How about this: how does broadcastify get their feed if its encrypted also
