ummm ummm .... CHP? was using 155.445 today following someone in the #1 lane with other vehicles in the group... vehicle was dropping letters at a mailbox near a shopping center.... in Camel Mtn Rd/I-15

Thats one of the oddball extender freqs that doubles as a tactical. DOJ often uses it for JTF operations with chp, and air to ground speed enforcement.
Just from your posting i would gather it's JTF/DOJ working mail fraud cases that originated outside of our area...but drifted into the SD area.
