Very nice, very cool of the original people that got together and decided to create this website, or, utilize existing technology to create the site.

As for information provided, It appears to be 'fan based' / scanner listener supplied frequencies, listener provided talk groups, listened supplied ideas - opinions.

It appears the talk groups and frequencies are a little more up to date/current if compared to radio reference dot com.
I suppose / guess / assume that this website is easier to view/audit if compared to R R dot com due to R R dot com having information on all 50 United States and beyond.

I did notice a local transmitter for the San Diego Nex Gen system, located in Imperial County, is listed properly, and, R R dot com looked at my offering of updates here at this site, and, continues to ignore updating what they have. The info I have elected to list, to release, was regarding talk groups and a transmitter frequency. The R R dot com head haunchos updated the talk groups but not the transmitter frequency.

a control issue? a power trip? a mere oversight?

a tactic to make sure your police scanner does not work properly if you simply enter what is listed and avoid experimenting with different control channel frequencies for the different transmitter locations.

not a simple issue of set it and forget it ...

maybe a method used to see whom is proficient and who is not --- --- more speculation on my behalf

so - - - thanks for listening to my offering of talk groups and frequencies

as for my fellow scanner hobbyist, if posting something scares you, or, if you are embarrassed to ask for help in fear of ridicule, please click on the 'contact' link of my posting here - usually to the upper right side - - and ask away.

I may have the frequency or talk group that will make your day / or / I will help you solve the puzzle and spend anywhere from 4 hours to 2 days to find out the answer

Welcome to the local scanner site.

Don’t forget to visit the sister site too for Riverside County and other counties.
