We all should go and demand public safety transparency like how SDPD dispatch is in the clear and they use an encrypted inquiry channel end encryption on dispatch those are our radios it's our money that goes into that system funding it and all of those officials work for us the people we are the government.

Wrong meeting, it should be done at the city council meetings.

I saw in the agenda for the RCS they are proposing an increase how much they charge per radio to be on RCS. Which means the agencies will have to cough up more money, impacting services they provide. As I remember on my property tax explanation, there is a line in there for RCS. So, when does that one get voted to be increased as well?
I wonder how much extra it costs to maintain the encryption of all of these radios? Has anyone else noticed ASTREA always has to launch from the base now when it is needed? I wonder, is that because it costs more to fly the chopper? Or is it because of the extra money to keep radios encrypted? Also, anyone else notice fewer b/w cars on the streets these days. In Poway, have noticed -- when I first moved to Poway, always seemed to see the SDSO cars all over, not anymore. I know part of is it dues to other things which has happened after the protests.
Sorry about the rant.. :-)

That is why they hide behind Encryption also another reason so they can be lazy and not provide community policing on the streets with hardly any street patrols but that is going to change there has to be transparency and safe communities and they need to do their job.
Sorry I just had to voice my opinion.
