SAN DIEGO POLICE DEPARTMENT - ANNOUNCEMENT - July 22, 2019
SUBJECT: ADVISORY 2019 - SECOND TOUCH RADIO REBANDING
The City of San Diego’s Police Department radio users currently utilize an 800 MHz Trunked Simulcast Radio Network. During the past several years, a new P25 Digital 700 MHz Simulcast Network has been designed, deployed and tested.

Now that the P25 network infrastructure is installed and functional, it is time to migrate the Police Department’s mobile and portable radios onto the new P25 system. Each radio will have to be programmed individually. Each division and investigative unit will be contacted in advance to prepare.

The plan is to start with Operational Support on July 23, 2019 and continue one division and investigative unit at a time until September 26th.

Seems like RR & whoever's streaming needs a correction for 8198 Sanitation 8 - Dispatch. Looking through my recordings of the Sanitation range, I've been recording dispatch all on 8199. Main dispatch radio is 39006 & dispatch supervisor? or supervisor/manager for more than dispatch? is 39005 - she was the one who came on & yelled at drivers who were ignoring the Code 2 (emergency traffic only) after personally handling comms with the driver (radio 900092) who assisted a resident who fell on face & got blood all over both of them, on Friday.

The yelling was 20260814_165058San_Diego_City_700_Simulcast_T-City__TO_8199_FROM_39005.mp3 (my clock is UTC).

P.S. I wonder if they could have thrown in a patch from 8199 to 327 (ALS Dispatch) or they needed to go through the formality of whatever 39005 was doing off 8199. No third voice patched in, only 900092 & 39005 & the recording filenames don't show either of their TXs were patched.
