1-11-022 sounds like Superior Ready Mix new talkgroup on Otay site.
I heard a guy say 410 Otay and two and a half yard cleanup and a pump wash.

1-11-040 is EDCO Disposal Waste Management routes
1-11-040 is EDCO Disposal Side Loaders , Cart Delivery , Cart trash , recycle , Green

I've been trying to pick out EDCO transmissions, since my neighbors keep forgetting to put theirs out before 6AM, let alone after 6PM the night before...

Since I only have <$100 SDRs & only CubicSDR works for me (not SDR Trunk)... the first day/yesterday I set all the Otay freqs as active & solo toggled, so it sort of scans through them (picking up static most of the time). Now I've set the recording mode as skip silence, and toggled record on all the freqs, so I can look at the waveforms for voice transmissions & cut down time listening to static.

Since I can't decode the talkgroups yet, I'm wondering... are the units with 3-digit callsigns that are referencing 6-digit account numbers & the bins at each account's location EDCO or WM? Or could they be either? I heard both account numbers & addresses being transmitted at different times yesterday & tried to hear what was being said between the static blasts, more than distinguishing dispatcher voices. Mix of English & Spanish... which Google Translate ignores when I play the recording into it?!

Please have the last 6 digits of your account number and your form of payment ready to pay your bill over the phone.

makes it seem like that would probably be EDCO's transmissions?

On radio they go by route number and you won't know what the truck is that is transmitting unless they say they are having problems with their truck then they sometimes say the truck numbers also there is no way of knowing the route number to a location unless they say the number then address.

Also you can program the input frequencies and listen to them conventionally when EDCO comes to pick up trash and see if the driver talks that way.

Ah. I would just stop my recording right after I see the EDCO truck idle at the empty pickup spot & drive away.

Since I blow out the SDRs with my HT on 1/2W across the house, I expect to have to attenuate their trucks if I listen on the inputs... but what are they? All standard offsets -45 MHz or any non-standard?

Been going through my recordings of ~0600-0800 today...
Only static was breaking squelch on 854.5375/854.4875/855.1375 (so I wonder if I set the squelches wrong), the other 3 freqs I got voices recorded. 854.8625/LCN 15's users seemed consistent with the post above, English conversation between a few people probably Superior Ready Mix & then the Spanish on another TG?

854.6125/LCN 11 & 855.7625/LCN 19 seemed to have all the bin/dumpster talk. Is EDCO's dispatcher Manny? Seemed like that's what most/all the drivers were saying other than their own names. Also heard the name Maggie (Eggers? EDCO's Chair) a few times & Karen (Jimenez? customer service clerk)

1-19-030 are front loaders
1-11-040 appears to be Side Loaders like the Autocars etc.
