EL CAJON, Calif. — The East County community has come together to support Tom Weller, known as the "Legendary Highwayman," who spent over 50 years rescuing stranded motorists without asking for anything in return.
Weller, who had helped more than 10,000 broken-down drivers throughout his career, recently found himself in need of assistance. "It's really difficult to ask for help," said Weller.
