The recent video on News 8 from the pot field raid near warner springs ,shows an agent with a frs radio clipped to his lapel...
Unknown brand....but the giant LCD showed Ch-2 displayed.

Careful, it might not be FRS. If it was an ICOM, it was probably the military version, the Intrasquad radio, using 390 MHz on a specially manufactured ICOM FRS radio modified for this band. They still have 14 channels, displayed the same as channel 01, etc.

There are several models of ICOM in use, one being the IC-43GS



and the other the IC-4088M

FRS would be a good place for them to show up as nobody would expect them there. Are you 100% sure it was a bubble pack radio though? DEA does have their own "Ch-2" but it's in the 418-419 range.
