Fleetmaps

I have noticed over the last several days that CalFire is including the 10alpha designator when dispatching for units to use their's or other's RCS channels, but not when using their VHF frequencies. Have the Fleetmaps been approved and implemented? Does anyone have the current edition to pass on?

They started reprogramming the radios/consoles last week.

Not sure if this is 100% correct. but something to go on for now.
Here some files to read it over about the new fleetmaps. Had to upload it as a zip file.

Thanks. These look like what I have been hearing with the dispatcher giving both old and new names to channels.

Went on a call this morning with Pine Valley and their radios have been reprogrammed to show the changes. They no longer say MVU Cmd 1 they say MVU Cmd 10C. They're also adding a Cmd 3 and 2 new Tacs. Not sure what the TG numbers will be ie 10384 is dispatch.

I noticed on the lists that Brian provided, there are a number of new TGs, and some reassigned. Like all of the groups will have the "P" channel as an emergency channel, and most are listed as "new". Also note that on SDCity, the Admin & Dispatch are apparently swapped. Also noted that only about 1/2 of the South M/A group and only 2 of the East M/A group are being reassigned. We have a lot of listening to do to get all of the new names and TGs rematched

The only "new" TGs are the EMERGENCY TGs (10P = MVU EMER, etc.). Everything else is recycled.
The EMERGENCY groups will be where the radios switch to when the operator hits their EMER button.

They were 'new' after the Cedar Fire in 2003 (probably in conjunction with the East Simulcast Zone project in 2005-2006), have been used since then, and posted / discussed here on the board, starting almost three years ago:

The text in blue is the cross reference to the IDs when they were created.

28048 - CDF [MVU Admin]
28080 - CDF [MVU Tac 3]
28112 - CDF [MVU Tac 4]
28144 - CDF [MVU Tac 5]
28176 - CDF [MVU Tac 6]
28208 - CDF [MVU Cmd 3]

Now, take the cross-reference chart and rename them.

Sure. But a number of people enjoy trying to figure these things out, and a lot of the data is already posted right here on the Forum.

The number of "new" talk groups being created is minimal (the "-P" Emergency groups being an example). A number of talk groups
(like those in the NMA/EMA/SMA zones) are being reused or eliminated. The goal of the project is to get an identical load into the
first 14 zones of every fire-rescue radio on the two systems, in order to improve operating conditions on the line.

What about Tac 10-O and Travel 10-L?
