Come here to talk about the San Diego and Imperial County Regional Communications System. This is a great resource to share talkgroups and information about the countywide RCS.

on RCS southzone
South zone is to far to moniter from esco is it not i have tryed to moniter it from esco & san marcos area while driving around but able to pickup the control channel at times and other times the system cuts out.
It may depend just on your antenna. I get the North cell clearly in El Cajon on a RadioShack tri-band antenna. I don't get north very often, but I believe that I have gotten South clearly on my trips to Temecula, but I can't say how far north. Old age you know.
Im able to get the north zone just about any where i go in San Diego county. But i always have a problem getting the south zone and im using an externel antenna on my truck.
