More KME's in service

Post by codethree »

Heard Engine 34 (id 1925) and 39 (1923) go into service yesterday.

With all the Pierce front-lines going into ready reserve maybe they can retire some of those 1985 E-Ones.

Driving east on I-80 through Iowa yesterday, I saw a brand new Truck 29 and Truck 44 headed westbound. I'm fairly certain I passed 2 new engines in Utah a couple days before headed west, but couldn't tell for sure (the paint scheme looked damn familiar though :))
