Driving east on I-80 through Iowa yesterday, I saw a brand new Truck 29 and Truck 44 headed westbound. I'm fairly certain I passed 2 new engines in Utah a couple days before headed west, but couldn't tell for sure (the paint scheme looked damn familiar though )

I think you saw T12 and T47...

When were those pics taken? I'm certain about the "29" on one of the trucks and fairly certain about "44" on the other. I'm not sure about the engines I saw, however.

And hearing the Qs on E1 and E201 echo through the skyscrapers downtown is definitely neat I like the LED light package on 'em too.

The date was incorrect...they were taken on Saturday, August 11th. Truck 29 and 44 are also in my collection on www.Flickr.com.

New KMEs for engines 7 & 22 are in.

I tought the new KMEs were too big for station 22. Have they modified the station?

I doubt that they made any modifications to the station. They have had an older Pierce in there for some time. So that fits. In fact they have had a reserve pierce in there for a couple of months. I believe they made some minor modifications to the apparatus with the mirrors. They certainly have had plenty of time with the other KMEs to figure it out. And I guess they did.

5 of the next round of KMEs are in. As mentioned, Engines 7 and 22, plus 11s, 35s and 17s.
