South zone is to far to moniter from esco is it not i have tryed to moniter it from esco & san marcos area while driving around but able to pickup the control channel at times and other times the system cuts out. :D :D

It may depend just on your antenna. I get the North cell clearly in El Cajon on a RadioShack tri-band antenna. I don't get north very often, but I believe that I have gotten South clearly on my trips to Temecula, but I can't say how far north. Old age you know. :wink:

Im able to get the north zone just about any where i go in San Diego county. But i always have a problem getting the south zone and im using an externel antenna on my truck.

Keep a eye on the Northzone for them! When the officers move around!
From the LEAN Minutes April2008.pdf

Harbor PD channels are only allowed to work in the south cell.
Permission will possibly be given so that they work in the north.
