RCS South hits for 12/9/2004

Come here to talk about the San Diego and Imperial County Regional Communications System. This is a great resource to share talkgroups and information about the countywide RCS.

RCS South hits for 12/9/2004

Post by brandon »

I finally got a spare laptop setup using IDTracker and a BC250 to help find new talkgroups on the RCS. With the full RCS list imported into the program, all identified talkgroups being skipped, I found myself with a nice list of unknowns with audio recordings to go with them. This program is really awesome, for those who are not using it you can grab it here (it's free!!)

Here is my list for today.

7088 – School maintenance crews. Talked about fire alarm at Bostonia School that was set off by some burnt popcorn. They were going out to look at it.

10928 – El Cajon school buses. Mention of Anza and Ballantyne.

11152 - El Cajon school buses, mentioned Bostonia, Meridian and Emerald.

14384 – Base identified as University Hospital.

22416 – Santee school district buses. Mention of Sycamore Canyon and streets Cuyamaca and Prospect.

37776 – Channel called "Tac 2" (P25)

42160 – Channel called "Tac 3" (P25)

42176 – Channel called "Tac 4". Same OM heard on 42160. (P25)

Another one I ran across yesterday was 39232. Unfortunately I did not have recording setup yet so I have no clues as to what it may be.

By the way thanks a million for this great site and forum! :D

Thanks for talking about this software program again.
I just got done setting it up. It's a pretty cool program to record the audio.
