Awesome posts, thanks Brian!

I just caught RCS TG 2442 which could either be another rural CFA dept admin channel or perhaps another travel channel. Traffic was between two type III engines on a division on the Valley Fire.

MVU ECC just put in a helicopter order for SDFD Copter 1 on FIRE C-C and spelled out some of the incident frequencies. In addition to Rotor Victor 125.075 they also mentioned a “Ramona Victor” of 163.100 FM (which is a common shared federal simplex freq), so keep an eye out for that one as well.

Another frequency in use down at this fire that is being used for the Airborne Fire Coordinators (the guys in the V10 Broncos) is 132.775. They're using this for the transitions/debriefs of the command (who's doing what, who's assigned where, and status of where the particular planes/helicopters are). The best way to handle this is to either tape it or have a notepad ready to write it down. Maybe I'm slow at texting, but trying to use my Notes app, I end up falling behind! :)

And last, you'll know when this frequency is most likely being used when you see both V10s on ADSBExchange in formation. Yesterday, they did a hand off at 10:00am, and four hours later, the first guy returned at 2:00pm to relieve is coworker.

I have been monitoring 132.775 to try and get more frequencies for the incident.
