Pacific Ambulance is no longer on the RCS.
It seems that all the private ambulance companies that have ever been on the RCS have eventually left for one reason or another(Pacific, Americare, and Mercy). I think one company failed to pay the RCS bill and got shut off.
I imagine being on the RCS is fairly expensive as compared to using Nextel for dispatching.

It was Americare that got off the rcs for not paying the bill.

Since you mentioned that your units use TK-880's in the RR forum, anyone aware of active UHF LTR systems, in the SD area. Not much info listed in the usual databases....unless Fisher is running standalone LTR ID's off their sites down there.

I was wondering if the ambulance heard on this frequency:463.625 but I haven't confirmed it though.

That's a possibility. Palomar Communications is licensed for Woodson, Otay, and Elsonore on that freq.

I'm about 80% sure Fisher 400 LTR(passport) can use standalone LTR ID's off the sites in San Diego area/etc. ( read it somewhere long time ago)
