Suicide by spear gun
A guy shot himself through the head. The spear penetrated his head and the wall and he was stuck to the wall. WOW.

Burning object falling from sky

One RP was in the Pine Valley area and thought the object must have landed nearby. Another RP was a LEO out in Glamis and he reported seeing it at high altitudes. Astrea was c...

Are "DES" channels encrypted?
I am looking at the TGs for SDSO. I see several TG IDs with "DES" in the alpha tags. Are these encrypted for sure? I am guessing yes but can't find any listings that verify that. If they really are encrypted, I might as well remove them from the talkgroup.

Re: Site confusion
I thought I would let you guys know that I think I figured out the issue with hearing data bursts. The towers on top of Superstition were so close I could see the antennas on the towers and I was listening to the Brawley site.I think that the issue was just signal overload. When I went back out a fe...

Re: Looking for local stringer freqs.
I'm going to resurrect an old thread due to my curiosity. I have several questions and I'm not sure what can and can't be answered here. 1. Who are the 'experts' on yellow? They seem to have extensive RCS system information at hand. 2. Who owns/maintains yellow and why? 3. Who has access to yellow a...

Re: BCD-396T Help
How much time do you have on your hands and how much do you want to spend? I bought ARC396 software and have a subscription to RadioReference.com. I can set up new trunk systems very quckly using those. There are other options though. You can use FreesScan and paste information from this site or Rad...
