It was CVF Zone; it is now CV EMER.

There are more 'new' TGs than just the Ps. CDF has gone from 2 commands and 3 tacs, to 3 commands and 6 tacs. They were 'new' after the Cedar Fire in 2003 (probably in conjunction with the East Simulcast Zone project in 2005-2006), have been used since then, and posted / discussed here on the board...

I noticed on the lists that Brian provided, there are a number of new TGs, and some reassigned. Like all of the groups will have the "P" channel as an emergency channel, and most are listed as "new". Also note that on SDCity, the Admin & Dispatch are apparently swapped. Also...

'Wide FM' as in, regular old NFM. 'Narrow FM' now means 6.25 KHz channel spacing. Wide FM to your scanner is FM Broadcast/Non-Digital TV Audio, 75 KHz deviation. Partially correct [not 6.25 yet]. Narrow in the VHF / UHF community is a 12.5 kHz channel (compared to the existing 25 kHz channels). The...
