BCD996T is good mobile/base scanner.
Also the PRO-2096 but keep in mind the GRE radios overload quite easily when passing cellular/nextel sites.

Someone shot a OPD officer who was on a stop. Sounds like it was from a sniper and not the person being stopped. Mercy Air came in and airlifted the officer to Scripps La Jolla I believe.
OPD D1 and RCS North Command with lots of traffic.

They are not simulcast on the North Zone but you can pick up the Imperial County Sheriff on the RCS East Zone; talkgroup 39472.

122.775 is probably the freq they used.
I've also heard ASTREA on 123.100 in the past.

Bad news

I think the PRO-92 will not work on San Diego's system...I know mine does not. It's because that model cannot track splinter systems, so it's pretty much useless for SDPD/SDFD. It does work on the RCS South at least. And if your in range of Riverside and Orange County, it will track them. Still for ...
