Did the DC10 ever come in? I heard they had ordered it, but never heard if it showed up.

I talked to one of the firefighters at their Open House for their 50th Anniv. He said it was going into effect on July 1st. I guess they had to do some moving around.

Well I ran a med aid with Sycuan last night. The brush rig is 6361.

Sycuan and Campo Res are right. I'm not sure about the rest, but I think you have them right. Sycuan has a hand crew named the Golden Eagles I believe that's who you're hearing on Forest Service in the morning. Sycuan is dispatched by CDF. I know two of the unit numbers E6311 and M6391.

You can listen to pretty much everything with the exception of law enforcement of course. I have Heartland, Monte Vista, East MA, Fire Air, Med Air and Law Air in my 97.

From what I hear they have to go up to Palomar Airport first. They will then be set up with all the radios, etc. I think I read somewhere around July is when they'll put the first one in service. Sean will probably know more.
