Re: I NEED HELP Programming my TRX-1 scanner

I do programming. I don't have software now for the TRX, but can get it, but that radio is like the Uniden Home Patrols, and will allow you to get the programming with just your zip code, I believe.

Re: RCS tracking system?
I don't know about your scanner, but you should have a choice when you enter the trunk frequencies to use 800 standard or 800 splinter.
Only newer trunkers have that choice, BC235 and 245, even the 250 and 780 have just Type II 800.

And the RCS South Zone isn't a splinter ...
3) State parks works with them but state parks didn't get the new programming yet so there is lots of confusion.
That will cure itself over time.

By THAT time, some cubicle-dwelling suit will come up with a NEW stupid change, and it'll start all over again.

Is CV 6-P 27408 Emergency is this talkgroup still known as Chula Vista Fire zone talkgroup?

It was CVF Zone; it is now CV EMER.
(That way we didn't have to add anything at SDFD Dispatch.)

Don

One last (I hope) thing.

Anyone have the 'Chula Vista City Call' TG??

OK, I thought I had all the new TGS, but (grabbed latest Fleetmap from RCS North website)..

Anyone have 5A and 5I (Heartland 3rd zone)?

How about 1O (Northcom)?

AND, one last thing, any info on what the 'agency' TG for Heartland Zones will be??

Re: Info on 2009 Uniden Scanners: BC346XT - BCD396XT

FYI, the RR wiki page indicates that bcTool supports the 396XT. This is wrong. The author of bcTool is swamped with his paying job and will not commit on a date that he will be able to update the program to support the 396XT. Freescan is the only game in town right now.

My 396XT should be here ...
