Re: California SB-1000 Law enforcement agencies: radio communications

Just curious, how do some of you feel about the chances of this making it all the way through and possibly seeing some reversing of encryption? I am a full time-time emergency manager, and we get blocked by encryption. We need to be able to monitor dispatch feeds, because events and incidents can r...

La Mesa PD Encrypted?

Heard La Mesa PD Dispatch last month on my SDS100 and SDS200 scanners, Radio Reference indicates LMPD non-encrypted, but I can't pick them up anymore, along with El Cajon PD, and San County Sheriff Dispatch Talkgroups. Can anyone confirm and/or update the status of La Mesa PD Encryption? I know that...

Does anyone have information on the SDFD Ambulance Service Provider (Faulk)? Faulk is now operaing replacing AMR in city limits, and only AMR and other ambulance dispatch services are listed. Nothing for Faulk. Does anyone know what talkgroup Faulck uses for emergency calls.

University of San Diego Public Safety - Talkgroup moved

The University of San Diego Public Safety Department Primary Talkgroup (TGID 36576) moved on Friday, August 2nd in the SDPD Next Gen system. Anyone know where it moved, I can't pick it up anymore. Anyone know how to locate it?

Cell Sites for La Mesa and El Cajon PD

I am using a Uniden BCD396XT and recently moved to La Mesa. Last night I programmed my radio using software and downloaded all the cell sites for the San Diego County - Imperial County Regional Communications System (RCS) under Radio Reference, since they don't specify which cell towers serve this a...
