Heard today on the Scanner that Units in Western and Northern where getting "New updated handheld Radios" . Every Shift was having trouble Logging the new Radio ID's on thier MDT's .
Could this be a Prelude to SDPD's Move to RCS. ?

Fire 5008
On the Digital Scanners it is still 5008. But on the Analog scanners its a PATCH of both analog and digital ID'S. I added 4 different ID's to my Analog scanners to be safe. Sometimes the Dispatch will send Alert tone on one ID, then the voice dispatch will go out on another. Will post the I'Ds Later...

CHP on RCS
When will the CHP Freq listed on RCS System be in use? The only one in use is a PATCHED Freq in El Cajon. lt would be nice if All were in use so they can be picked up any where in the county.

Been listning to Digital RCS CHP Frqs, and only 1 PATCHED freq in El Cajon is up and running. When are the others going to be in use.
