once i enter the control freq will the scanner find the talk group id?. or am i supposed to enter the indiv frequencies for the control??? .

how do i get the control freqs for national city police

I have a Radio Shack PRO-96. I need to program National City Police into it. I have the ID numbers such as 37904 37920 etc. Can someone walk me through getting these talk groups input?
