Sorry, I've been off the forum for a while...as I'm sure you know know by now, as they are AMR units, they had to change the disignators to 43X, hence the 436, 438, 439, 430, and 440

all 4 units are in service now. Correction on the designator, no M437, it is M440. M440 is a 12 hour unit, with the others out of the numbered stations.

I do not know Reach's company frequency. All San Diego County scene calls are still coordinated through AMR via County contract.

As a side note, Mercy 6 has been relocating to Ramona during the day.

according to a friend who works at Reach, the copter will be identical including the paint scheme to Reach 16, the helo at Oceanside airport. It will be designated Reach 21. A hanger and crew quarters are being constructed at the Viejas helipad. Should be operational sometime mid December.

was part of a tour this weekend at Ramona Air Attack Base, and I asked about the new copter. Per the Cal Fire Aviation Chief, the copter should be here in a couple of weeks, and will be designated Copter 11.

I do know the city is building multiple stations with bonds. I am not sure which new stations (they are also building replacement stations for older ones) are numbered what.
