Uniden BC 796D
I am thinking of purchasing the Uniden BC-796D. I am wondering what people think of this scanner before I go out and purchase it. I have the BCT-8, but the only thing that I want to listen to and can pick up on that is the CHP. It seems like it would be a good investment because I have heard that pr...

I am wondering if you could tell me some names of scanner stores in San Diego. The only store that I know about is the Ham Radio Outlet in Clairemont. Are there any others in the San Diego area?

In Car Scanner Reception Question
I just installed a Bct-8 scanner in my truck. I can pick up frequencies but it is not as clear as it was in the house. I currently have the stick on antenna as the current antenna. I know that people will say that I need to have an external antenna on the top of my truck, but is there any other way ...
